TESIECS NUST WORKSHOP AND SKILLS SHARE

TESIECS UJ and TESIECS NUST engaged on a 3 day workshop which included skills and best practices sharing. The team visited a strawberry farm where one of NUST Postgraduate students was placed for practical experience. Engaging with the student was important for TESIECS because of the upcoming TESIECS student traineeship programme which requires students to be attached to work environments for training for a period of approximately 6 months. The visit to the strawberry farm and later the botanical gardens allowed for interaction with the placement organisations that form part of the many spaces where TESIECS students will be attached for training via TESIECS NUST.

Thank you TESIECS NUST for organizing the informative workshop

TESIECS started the year with a site visit, networking, planning for upcoming mobilities and connecting with professional staff members to get views of how best to tailor staff mobilities in ways that lead to effective skills share. The site visit included a stop at the nature reserve because environmental issues are at the centre of TESIECS’s focus.
