TESIECS Intra-Africa mobility is an EU funded project which facilitates long-term and short-term student and staff mobilities among its African partner institutions to promote creative, locally contextual solutions to environmental challenges. The project is designed to facilitate capacity enhancement of academic, administrative and technical staff, and train cohorts of Masters and PhD postgraduate students to be environmental thought leaders and sustainability champions.

Scholarship holders cannot benefit from another EU funded scholarship scheme (e.g., Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees) to implement the same activity during their Intra-Africa mobility period.

Students will have to reimburse the financial support in case of incomplete or false declaration.

Yes, students with special needs are encouraged to apply. There is additional assistance to support students with special needs.

Students may not apply for scholarships for programmes in their current participating institutions or in their current country of study and/or original home country. E.g., former and current University of Johannesburg students cannot apply for scholarships to study further at the University of Johannesburg or the University of the Western Cape.
